Black Westchester proudly Endorses advocate, educator, social worker and leader, Tasha Young for Greenburgh Town Supervisor. While we have had a great relationship with Paul Feiner, we believe 30 years is a long time and feel its time for some new blood in that office. If Tasha Young wins she will make history as the first Woman and first African-American to run the Town of Greenburgh. That alone is not enough reason to vote for her though. Black Westchester feels she has the qualifications, the passion and the out of the box thinking that will greatly benefit the Town of Supervisor and help move the municipality forward. We believe Ms. Young’s experience as Chief of Staff to New York City Council Majority Leader Laurie A. Cumbo and her style of leadership which is rooted in her calling to empower and guide her community through difficult times and uplift those around her to find their ultimate success makes her the best candidate to become the next Town Supervisor of Greenburgh. you can view our interview with Tasha Young here.
